VEHICLE EXTENDED WARRANTY

Vehicle Extended Warranty covers the sudden and unforeseen breakdown or failure of a covered mechanical, electrical or electronic component causing the stoppage of its function for reasons other than wear & tear, negligence or lack of maintenance.

WE OFFER DIFFERENT LEVELS OF VEHICLE EXTENDED WARRANTY

AME (All Mechanical & All Electrical) cover is the standard level of cover for New Car Extended Warranty and is the highest level of cover normally provided on vehicles. AMAE differs from OEM Bumper to Bumper cover in that it excludes all non-mechanical and non-electrical components and components normally considered service items.

Named components cover ranges from Powertrain (being the lowest level of cover)to 5* or Gold (the highest level of cover).

  • Powertrain covers only the Engine, Gearbox and Transmission.
  • 5* or Gold is similar to AMAE but the components covered are listed in the Warranty Booklet.
  • Intermediate named component covers are called variously and increasing level 1*, Bronze, 3* and Silver.

The age of the vehicle or the kilometres at inception usually dictate the level of cover offered on the vehicle, with the older vehicles being sold with the lower levels of cover.
