What is Roadside Assistance?

Roadside Assistance is a service offered by AutoCon (India) Pvt Ltd that provides everything from battery boosts to towing service. With Roadside Assistance you're covered anywhere in the territory that you have chosen to be covered.

How much does Roadside Assistance cost?

There are various membership plans from which you can choose the best plan that suits you. You can contact AutoCon support centre or AutoCon sales agents to buy a membership.

What services are covered for free by Roadside Assistance?

Services covered by Roadside Assistance at no charge for eligible vehicles include:

  • Towing services
  • Jump start your car's battery
  • Delivering fuel to reach the nearest petrol station (you must pay for the fuel cost)
  • Removing a flat tire and replacing it with your spare tire
  • Winching

Note: The following vehicles are not eligible for Roadside Assistance services:

  • Boats
  • Trailers
  • Vehicles with more than two axles
  • Vehicles with more than four wheels
  • Vehicles designed or modified for commercial or heavy-duty use (e.g., limousines, emergency vehicles)
  • Vehicles exceeding 10,000 lbs gross vehicle weight.
What if someone else is driving my car and needs Roadside Assistance?

Another person can receive Roadside Assistance if:

  • The member name and mobile device number are confirmed
When I sign up for Roadside Assistance, how soon does it start?

Your coverage becomes effective 24 hours after your enrolment in the membership program and will stay valid for the period you have chosen to be covered.

Is there a limit to how many times I can use Roadside Assistance at no charge?

There is no limit of four service claims. Any materials like fuel or consumable items that are used to provide assistance will be charged. If the client requires services that are not included in the package, commercial rates will be applicable.

How many vehicles does Roadside Assistance cover?

Depends on the package you are choosing. All standard package allow the user to add one vehicle to the membership.

What do I need to have with me to use Roadside Assistance?

You'll only need to show you valid membership card. While contacting the emergency hotline number to request for assistance, you will have to provide your details for the call centre agent to validate your membership.

What is the procedure to follow if I need Roadside Assistance?

Contact our Emergency hotline number and provide your membership details and the assistance you require. Our dispatch centre will send service provides to your location. You need to provide the following information:

  • TVehicle type (i.e., make, model and color)
  • Your location: the nearest major street / crossroad, if known

Note: If the cost of the service exceeds the amount covered by Roadside Assistance, you're responsible for any additional charges.

Can I use Roadside Assistance on restricted roadways?

Service may be limited by local traffic rules and regulations, such as restricted roadways and toll roads. Roadside Assistance from AutoCon may not be available in all areas due to such regulations and rules.

In such areas, only certain service vehicles that have been designated by local authorities are authorized to perform service. If you happen to require service in one of these areas, the Dispatch centre Customer Service Representative will assist you with your options.

What is the AutoCon Roadside Assistance app?

The AutoCon Roadside Assistance app is an interactive service that offers self-assisted dispatch for emergency roadside services using your Android smartphone or iPhone. You can use the app to request immediate assistance, register your car(s) etc..
